Equitable Resilience in Toronto's Open Space - 08 Elements of a Park_UofT_#11

To improve the quality of public parks, an inventory and analysis of existing elements was necessary. Toward that end, our research team created a catalog of elements in 5 public parks within the Black Creek Subwatershed. These elements were organized into layers as a way to understand their spatial and typological relationships. This exercise identified a limited palette of elements used in parks. Within the same category of element (i.e. a bench), we found low diversity in form.
