I was charmed by the boutique's understated and refined atmosphere: the layout is minimalist, the clothes are well presented, making for a pleasant and inviting visit. The staff were friendly and helpful, without pressuring me to buy. I felt that they genuinely wanted to help me find the right item rather than just make a sale. I found the clothes to be of good quality, the Egyptian cotton is comfortable, the cuts are simple but elegant, and the basics on offer are suitable for everyone. Although some pieces are more “feminine,” I find that many of their clothes are gender-neutral. I also liked that the store highlights clothing that is made ethically and sustainably. The fact that the store is located in an accessible and pleasant neighborhood makes the shopping experience even more enjoyable. Overall, I consider Kotn to be a very good example of a quality clothing store in Montreal.
