"I experience the River Park off-leash dog park as a place that I really love walking in. There are so many different paths and routes that you can take, and it feels like you can explore it in different ways every time. Because it is a dog park, there are also dogs everywhere, which makes it a really enjoyable environment to be in.
What stands out to me is that anybody can go there. It is in a pretty fancy neighbourhood, but it is still a public space that everyone can access. I like that I can go there and enjoy the same amenities as anyone else.
There is also a beautiful view of downtown. When you are walking through the park and you look toward the skyline, especially on a nice day, it is just a really lovely experience. You are in nature, there are people around, there are dogs playing, and you have that view of the city in the background.
There are also a lot of different things within the space. If you walk further, there are picnic areas, bike paths, a playground, and even access to the river. It is just a really nice place for people to go outside, spend time, and enjoy being there."
