Cinéma Beaubien - Montreal

My experience with the Cinéma Beaubien is a way of reconnecting with Québécois cinema. I feel so happy to be able to support Québécois directors. The screening rooms are intimate, and the concept of reserving your seat in advance doesn't exist here. In fact, it's first come, first served. For someone who often arrives right on time or a few minutes late, this concept allows me to arrive early and settle in. It's important to find moments when you can relax. We're used to absorbing an endless stream of information jumbled up on our screens, so it's a moment I cherish, just before watching the film.
