"At first glance, it looks like a simple bar, but there is a lot happening in the way the space is designed. The floor is subtly sloped instead of stepped, so you can move through the space without barriers. It is almost unnoticeable unless you look closely. Everything is positioned at a reachable level, from fire extinguishers to controls. The entire space has been thought through from a wheelchair perspective. What stands out is that the accessibility is so well integrated that you do not notice it. It just works." (Adapted from interview material.
