"I experience Eighth Avenue Place through its quality. It stands out for how well it is put together, in a very precise way. There is a high level of attention to how the building is made, and you can feel that when you are around it. It contributes to both the skyline and the street. It has a presence, but also relates to the pedestrian level. That balance is important. There is a clarity to it, a kind of tectonic quality that makes it feel resolved. It is not trying to do too many things, but what it does, it does well. For me, it shows how strong design can elevate the overall experience of a place.
