"I experience Inglewood as a place where the scale and character of the buildings create a very different feeling compared to more typical urban areas. It has a kind of small-town quality, with buildings that feel closer to people in scale. One thing that stands out is the attention to lighting, especially in areas where people sit or gather. That kind of lighting makes the space feel more welcoming and more comfortable to spend time in. For me, it is not about one single building, but the overall experience. It feels more human and more approachable, and that is what makes it work as a place." (Adapted from interview material. Edited for clarity while preserving the participant’s voice.)
