"I experience TELUS Sky more as an experiment within the city. It is not necessarily about public access, but about pushing ideas. When you look at it, you can see that it is trying something different. It stands out because it is not conservative. It pushes edges, and I think that is important for a city. Not everything should be the same or safe. There has to be a mix. As you experience it in the skyline, it adds something. It challenges expectations and shows a different direction for design. That kind of innovation has value, even if it is not directly about everyday public use. For me, it represents the need for cities to take risks sometimes, to try things that are not typical, and to expand what design can be." (Adapted from interview material.
